
KSU College of Medicine held “OSCE” exam in the new building
The college of Medicine at King Saud University started recently using
the new expansion building gradually, which has a total area of 30,000 square meters. The first units used the building were the Clinical Examination Unit to held "OSCE" exam, a multidisciplinary clinical exam for students. This type of exam was included in the college curriculum from the first year. The Dean of the College of Medicine said that providing the OSCE exam is an achievement in a place that is considered one of the best centers for clinical examinations for students of the Faculty of Medicine at this early stage of their studies. He added that the exams for the first and second year in the center of clinical examinations are under the supervision of the Department of Medical Education and the Skills Training Center of the Faculty of Medicine then under the supervision of the clinical departments for the third, fourth and fifth years. He also pointed out that the Faculty of Medicine will open the new building units of the college gradually, which will make a qualitative leap to the College in various fields.
