Description:
This is an onsite course which aims to equip healthcare students and professionals with injection administration skills. The course includes hands-on training sessions and attendees will receive a Certificate of Training upon completion of the course.
 
Course Objectives: 
1-Demonstrate the  procedure for safe administration of IM and SC injection and your role in  assessment, monitoring and recording of treatment
2-Demonstrate correct disposal of used needle
3- Identify the  sites and rationale for site selection
4- Define how to minimize complications by utilizing evidence base in selection of equipment, skin preparation, infection control
 
Target Audience: 
Healthcare professionals and students looking to enhance their current skills/knowledge and review current practice or looking to acquire new skills.
 

Duration: 4 hours (8:30AM-12:00PM) at King Saud University Medical City, Clinical skills & simulation Center -college of medicine -building 34
