
King Khalid University Hospital Receives Saudi Accreditation “CBAHI”
In the presence of Dr. Yusuf bin Abdu Asiri, Dean of Planning and Development and Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Almuammar, CEO, and a number of medical departments heads, King Khalid University Hospital received the accreditation certificate by the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI). This came after passing the comprehensive assessment of compliance with quality and safety standards and providing the highest level of medical care set by CBAHI as well as the ability to obtain a high degree of the standards special tests.
Dr. Faisal bin Abdullah Alsaif, CMO, expressed his thanks to Dr. Badran bin Abdul Rahman Alomar, KSU rector, for his support of the Medical City, noting that this accreditation was the result of joint efforts and continuous support by all the medical city staff and due to commitment in providing high quality services and excellence in patient safety.
He added that the accreditation received after the high quality procedures followed by the medical city to ensure the quality of services provided to the patients safety with a vision to provide specialized healthcare in the latest scientific methods used globally.
Maram Bakhash, the Director of Quality Management at King Khalid University Hospital, said that the accreditation confirms the application of the quality and development approach and taking care of the safety and health of patients and gain their satisfaction. Noting that these goals are a basic requirement to be achieved in different facilities of the medical city.
She stated that this accreditation is based on a comprehensive evaluation of the level of care and quality through scientific standards for each level of health care, confirming that this will contribute to achieve the vision of 2030 and the National Transition Program 2020.
