KSUMC Adopts Service Performance Evaluation Application “My Experience”
Dr. Badran Alomar, Rector and Chairman of KSUMC Board, has launched "My Experience" application in the presence of KSUMC Board members that aims to evaluate the provided services electronically. "My Experience application confirms KSUMC commitment to provide patients with excellent health care and aims to improve and develop the patient's experience in all levels", said Dr. Badran.
The application enables KSUMC staff and visitors to evaluate the provided services that usually includes many medical and service departments in order to improve performance and quality. This service is one of KSUMC services provided to improve staff and visitors experience.
"The application was developed in accordance with the international quality standards. Users can evaluate the services through KSUMC website or IOS and Android application. It supports Arabic and English languages and includes several questionnaires for KKUH, KAUH, and Dental University Hospital. My Experience application can be applied in other health sectors as a standard model to measure patient's satisfaction rate Kingdom wide", said Dr. Abdulrahman Almuammar, KSUMC CEO.
He pointed out that KSUMC aims to improve and develop the application, work on its outputs and solve the patient's obstacles. Regarding to its impact on medical and administrative staff performance, Dr. Almuammar stressed that the level and performance of services and medical departments as well as physicians can be evaluated through the patient, which increases the performance efficiency to achieve the desired goals. He stated how the questionnaire works, a "non-mandatory" detailed information about the user shows before starting the service evaluation where this information can be useful in studies and future researches.
Dr. Almuammar stated that any future questionnaire could be added, deleted or modified and a period of time could be set for the questionnaire. He highlighted that the application allow the user to inquire about one of KSUMC hospitals generally, choose a specific clinic such as outpatients clinic and choose the date of measuring the satisfaction rate or determine one of the satisfaction indicators such as cleanliness or parking or nursing.
He mentioned that the application is part of the strategic plan initiatives, which in accordance with the Kingdom vision of 2030 and the National Transformation program of 2020. Dr. Almuammar stressed KSUMC keenness to serve visitors and listen to their suggestions in order to ensure the service quality.
