
KSU Discusses “Modern Technology in Retina and Optic Nerve Imaging”
The Department of Ophthalmology at the College of Medicine and KSUMC organized the 46th Scientific Symposium on Retina and Optic Nerve Imaging in the Main Auditorium of the College of Medicine. The symposium aims to highlight the importance of diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the retina and optic nerve in the presence of Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Muammar, CEO of KSUMC, Dr. Khaled Fouda, Dean of the College of Medicine, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Fawaz, Head of Ophthalmology Department at KAUH.
Dr. Ahmed Abo Al-Asrar, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the symposium, stated that major developments in retina and optic nerve imaging technology require doctors to develop their skills and capabilities in this field. He stressed that the symposium discusses the latest developments in retina and optic nerve imaging techniques with participation of international professors and speakers and tackles a number of important topics and developments in the imaging of different retinal layers and the optic nerve.
