KSU Medical City Concludes Global Health Forum Participation with 15 Agreements
King Saud University Medical City (KSUMC) has successfully concluded its participation in the 7th Global Health Forum, held at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center under the theme "Invest in Health." The KSUMC pavilion witnessed a significant turnout of visitors who were keen to learn about the medical city's comprehensive range of healthcare, educational, and research services.
The pavilion showcased KSUMC's strategic vision to elevate healthcare services to advanced levels, highlighting its pioneering capabilities in operating and developing healthcare projects and programs. The medical city also presented its numerous accomplishments in the healthcare sector and provided insights into ongoing and future projects.
The KSUMC pavilion hosted numerous meetings and visits from prominent healthcare leaders in the Kingdom. Notable attendees included His Excellency Engineer Fahad Al-Jalajel, Minister of Health; His Excellency Dr. Majid Al-Fayyadh, CEO of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center; His Excellency Dr. Aous Al-Shamsan, Secretary-General of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties; His Excellency Dr. Saleh Al-Tamimi, Executive Director of the First Health Cluster in Riyadh; and His Excellency Dr. Nahar Al-Azmi, Secretary-General of the Saudi Health Council.
A significant highlight of KSUMC's participation was the signing of 15 agreements, including five with the Ministry of Health to enhance quality measurement, health performance, research, home healthcare, maintenance, virtual healthcare, and digital transformation. Additionally, three agreements were signed with Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare to strengthen collaboration in cost management, medical education, research, and healthcare services. The remaining seven agreements were inked with private sector companies and health associations to advance medical training and innovation centers in radiology, promote medical tourism and training, develop health information management and medical coding, foster innovation in medical devices and industries, and enhance community service, among other areas.
