
KSUMC Launches “Sharik 5” Exhibition
The Acting President of King Saud University, Dr. Abdullah Al-Salman, inaugurated the Sharik 5 Exhibition, which was organized by the Spending Efficiency Unit in the Executive Administration of Strategic Planning at KSUMC to showcase projects and initiatives that achieve spending efficiency in the presence of the vice presidents of KSU, Prof. Ahmad Hersi, Chief Executive Officer of KSUMC, college deans and guests representing relevant government and private sectors.
Prof. Saleh bin Saleh, Chief Strategic Planning Officer of KSUMC, stated that the exhibition, in its fifth year, aims to promote and enhance the previous objectives of the exhibition in line with KSUMC's strategic plan of promoting the culture of spending efficiency and the financial impact of KSUMC, strengthening relationships with success partners and the private sector, exchanging experiences and creative ideas with other government sectors in line with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision and the aspirations of the wise leadership.
He further added that Sharik 5 highlights new initiatives focusing on providing patient-centric healthcare services of excellent quality, ensuring optimal use of human resources, and increasing KSUMC's focus on training of undergraduate and postgraduate students from health colleges. It also includes initiatives aimed at enhancing financial sustainability through prudent investment strategies, promoting health research to improve healthcare services, supporting student and staff development, enhancing the competitive value in the regional and international arenas, achieving operational efficiency and reducing waste.
