KSUMC Medical Team Succeed in Ureteral Reimplant Surgery
A Medical Team from the College of Medicine at King Saud University and the Medical City has succeed in a complex Ureteral Reimplant surgery. Ureteral Reimplantation surgery was done for a 3 year old boy, who suffer from a first grade urine reflux to the kidney. The team has used a "Da Vinci S Robotic" system, which translates the surgeon's hand movements into smaller, more precise movements of tiny instruments inside the body with the assistant of the latest surgical and robotics technologies. Da Vinci S Robotic" system is considered as one of the modernized systems on the level of Arabian Gulf regions.
