Saudi Professor Wins the Corporate Social Responsibility Award.
The 23rd World Congress of Dermatology in Vancouver, Canada has announced Dr. Khalid Muhmmad Al-Ghamdi, as the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Award Winner in the field of Dermatology of 2015, for the initiatives of Fa’al Charitable OrganizationDr. Al-Ghamdi received the award at what is considered one of the most important events in the field of Dermatology, which was organized by International Society of Dermatology.
CSR award winner, Dr. Khalid Al-Ghamdi, is a consultant in Dermatology, Cutaneous and Laser Surgery at King Saud University, he is also the Director of Vitiligo and Melanocyte Research Chair. As well as the Chairman of Fa’al Vitiligo Charity Foundation.
Dr. Khalid rendered the award for representing the project of Vitiligo Charity Foundation, which is the first Charity of its kind in the Arab World, to support Vitiligo Patients. The Charity present a wide variety that includes awareness activities, and provide psychological and social support for patients with vitiligo in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Social Responsibility is given each year to five winners, from different continent, and it is given on the base of best initiatives that aims to help vitiligo patients to restore their self-appreciation, and improve their lives.
