The “first female doctor “as Director of King Fahd Cardiac Center at King Saud University
Dr. Badran bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar, the Rector of King Saud University, issued a decision appointing Dr. Nouf Bint Abdulaziz Al-Anzi as Director of the King Fahd Cardiac Center.
Dr. Al-Enezi is considered one of the distinguished national cadres in cardiology and is regarded as the first Saudi female doctor to lead a heart center. She held several positions, the head of the quality unit at the King Fahd Cardiac Center and the Interventional Radiology Fellowship Program's management.
She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from King Saud University, the Saudi Board in Internal Medicine, the Canadian Board, a Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Calgary, Canada, and a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Catheterization from the University of Calgary Canada.
