To achieve operational efficiency and reduce waste, Rector of KSU Inaugurates “Sharik”
H.E. Dr. Badran bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar, Rector of KSU, inaugurated Sharik Exhibition, which was held in KKUH plaza lobby at KSUMC and aims to shed light on programs and projects that achieve operational efficiency and reduce waste, in the presence of Dr. Abdullah bin Salman Al-Salman, Vice Rector of KSU, Abdulrazzaq bin Subhi Al-Aujan, CEO of the Expenditure Efficiency Center, and a number of executives from the center and KSUMC.
Dr. Ahmed bin Salah Hirsi, CEO of KSUMC, said that KSUMC is considered one of the national achievements that the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God support him - and his trustworthy Crown Prince - may God protect him - have supported, fulfilling the needs of society in the field of healthcare and through the medical training programs and scientific research, it has become a producer of qualified health cadres. He further added that the sponsorship of the Rector of KSU to Sharik Exhibition confirms KSUMC's determination to achieve the university’s goals in reaching global leadership based on the recommendations of KSUMC's Executive Board to move forward on the path of excellence by developing a strategic plan complementary to what preceded it while reviewing and evaluating the initiatives and updating the programs and projects of this plan until 2022. He stressed that this review aims to enhance the competitive value of KSUMC and optimally invest its resources while finding multiple financing sources that achieve operational efficiency and reduce waste, support the efficiency of financial and administrative performance, and support the level of readiness in achieving efficient spending in an independent and sustainable manner, indicating that Sharik event features past and future KSUMC projects through the exchange of expertise and experiences between departments, divisions and units, so that KSUMC can be in line with future plans for healthcare, training and research services in accordance with Vision 2030.
