Patient Responsibilities

The patient and his family are required to the following:

  1. Abide by all hospital rules and regulations.
  2. Comply with non-smkoing policy in all areas in the hospital.
  3. Provide the treating team with complete information about his/her health and inform them any changes in his/her medical condition.
  4. Follow the instructions of the health care team. He/she will be responsible in the case of non-complince with instructions and must sign special form indicating that.
  5. Be on time for appointments, and call as soon as possible if he/she cannot make the appointment.
  6. Arrange for timely discharge when the doctor decide.
  7. Understand that the priority of medical care is based on the urgency of the medical condition.
  8.  Leave valuables at home and brine those items necessary during his/her stay.
  9. Understand that he/she, accompaniments, and visitors will be held responsible by the relevant authorities for any damage to the hospital property in the patient's room or hospital due to carelessness or misuse.
  10. Treat those who are caring for him/her in a considerate and respectful manner.
